Cranfield IT Solutions is a local, independent mobile IT service run by me — Matt Cranfield, your friendly neighbourhood tech specialist.
With over 16 years of hands‑on experience in repairs, IT support, smart technology, and small business systems, I’ve helped thousands of people get their technology running smoothly again. From slow laptops to smart home installs, from printer headaches to full network setups — I’m here to make tech simple.
What We do
We offer a wide range of IT services for both home users and businesses across East Sussex. This includes laptop and PC repairs, Wi-Fi optimisation and full network setups, CCTV and smart alarm installations , Tv wall mounting, Audio visual solutions and both on-site and remote IT support. We also help with smart home device setup, general tech troubleshooting, and ongoing Managed IT Support and consultancy too! We are far more than your average IT service provider.
No job is too small, and if you’re within our service area — we’ll come to you. We’re mobile, flexible, and local — ready when you need us.

More than just my surname, “Cranfield” comes from Old English meaning “field of cranes.”
It’s a name rooted in rural communities — a perfect match for our work supporting homes, farms, villages and businesses across Sussex.

Meet Matt – Founder & Lead Technician
I’ve spent over 16 years in the IT industry, working in computer repair shops, in‑house IT departments, manufacturing, logistics and managed service providers. I’ve fixed thousands of devices and supported hundreds of businesses of all sizes. Along the way, I realised something important: Tech support doesn’t have to be complicated or corporate — it just has to be done right. I’m also trained as a Cyber Security Analyst (IBM certified), which allows me to bring advanced protection and best practices to everyday households and small businesses without the fearmongering you see elsewhere.
